Over 110 people gathered at the Fig & Olive restaurant in New York City’s meatpacking district on Thursday, May 15 to celebrate the accomplishments of the John D.V. Salvador Foundation and to raise money for future programs.

The event raised USD 60K for the next stage of St. Martin de Porres’ development including the completion of the Girl’s Village. The money will also help support ongoing programs such as funding for school supplies, social workers and academic initiatives. One highlight was a heated live auction that brought in USD 10K for a painting from artist Diane Detalle.

Chairwoman Lizelle Salvador, Treasurer Hugo Banziger and Board Member Eunice Cheng Chua, who flew in from the Philippines, celebrated with the guests during the evening. Eunice narrated a moving video depicting the children’s progress and photos from work over the past nine years were enjoyed by all.
